Krista Marshall

Krista is passionate about building food systems that advance food sovereignty, promote regional food systems, and enable farmers to be ecological stewards of working lands. She brings a range of experiences from the local to statewide level including operating a mutual aid urban farm in Sacramento, participating in local policy and coalition-building efforts, and managing applied research and policy work that answers targeted questions for public agencies that serve small-scale and organic farmers. Krista has a M.S. in Horticulture and Agronomy with an emphasis in Agroecology and soil ecology from University of California - Davis.
