
Monica Haulman

Monica (she/her) is the Director of Community Impact at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s where she leads the organization's learning and evaluation efforts, food focus area, and nonprofit capacity-building initiatives. With a background in public health, she committed to addressing the social determinants of health that contribute to unequal outcomes across the Sacramento community. She is a past Board President of Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center. Monica grew up in the Sierra foothills and volunteers as a SLEWS Mentor (Student and Landowner Education and Watershed Stewardship) with the Center for Land-Based Learning, experiences that fuel her passion for environmental stewardship, the outdoors, and cultivating California's diverse native plants.
